LengthPattern
Pick the pattern length (16/32/48/64). Click a 1/16 step to start recording there β then press a key on the 3-octave keyboard (or click it) to drop that note into the step, and the recorder advances. Press space to skip a 16th. Click a lit step to clear its note. Drag up/down on a volume bar, or brush across bars without releasing to paint volumes. Q = lower octave Β· P = raise octave. Save patterns with the name box + Save, load them from the dropdown.
Chord Pads the pads follow the selected progression β one column per chord, one row per substitution family Β· change root/scale to transpose everything

Progression
Name
Each box is one chord of the progression β pick any diatonic degree, a secondary dominant (V7/β¦), or a borrowed chord. Chord names show the spelling in the current key, so the whole progression transposes when you change Root or the scale mode. Up to 8 chords; the pads below preview your edits live.
Chord trackbars
This is the chord track's progress bar (like the drum sequencer). Each pad is a 1/4 note β four pads per bar, eight bars per row. Record: press the top β Rec and play pads while the song runs; chords land on the current 1/4 note and the pad is highlighted as it plays. Step-edit: click a pad to select it, then tap a chord pad to place it there (click a lit pad to clear it).

Studio β Projects create a new project, or open an existing one to play and edit its tracks
Projects are saved in this browser. Each project holds up to 8 tracks β Instrument, Drum, Arp, Chords, or Clip. Open a project to play the song or edit any track (β jumps to that track's mode).
Project
Every track loops at its own bar length (1 / 2 / 4 / 8 / 16 / 32 bars). Because these are powers of two, all armed tracks start together, stay in sync, and land back on the downbeat together β a 2-bar drum loop wraps twice inside a 4-bar part, a 4-bar part wraps twice inside an 8-bar one, and so on. ARM toggles which tracks play (arm several at once), S solos one or more. Set a track's type: Instrument (record notes via β), Drum (pattern + kit β its 2-bar grid repeats for the chosen bar length), Arp (saved pattern + instrument), Chords (a chord progression with its own progress bar β edit it in Chords mode), or Clip (records sample-pad hits). β opens a track's mode to edit it β Drum β Drums, Arp β Arp, Chords β Chords, Instrument β Notes, Clip β Samples. β record-arms a track β after a 4-beat count-in you play in any mode while the other armed tracks loop along, and βΉ Stop ends the take; the track auto-sizes to the take (rounded up to a power-of-2 bar length) and the take wraps so it loops cleanly. Latency comp keeps Bluetooth takes on the grid. ββΆ shifts a track's start, the fader sets volume (AUTO records fader moves). Save the whole project as a song.
